Over £500 for Shelter Box's Big Green Box Week
Shelter Box is a charity based in Helston, Cornwall. They respond quickly wherever and whenever disaster strikes by sending large green boxes packed with basic shelter, cooking and sanitation equipment.
Last week we donated all the sales of flowers and bulbs that passers by bought from our farm gate and 20% of the value of sales for postal flowers placed in person at the farm. We set ourselves the target of £500 and we managed £535 - enough to cover the price of a box including transport to wherever in the world it will be needed.
