From Scilly to Shetland
The Royal Mail recently contacted us to ask if they could track one of our boxes of Scented Narcissi as far North as possible so they could write an artical for their inhouse magazine. We arranged to send one of our boxes from St. Martins all the way to one of our regular customers in the Shetland Islands. The flowers arrived in just over 24 hours, which we think is pretty impressive!
Sometimes it is a logistical challenge getting our boxes off the island but we are lucky to work with great teams at the Isles of Scilly Steamship Company and our local helicoptor service, British International Helicoptors, that make this possible. We also work closely with Truro Mail Centre who then face further challenges collecting the flowers from Lands End and distributing them across the county. So it is always good to hear that the hard work has paid off!
